Forms, Faces & Spaces

This is the 4th annual show part of the world’s largest photography event, the prestigious CONTACT Photography Festival

Hosted by E. Connie Munson’s Studio by Design on behalf of an “embodied” coalition of artists and organizations who are committed to sharing the iconic which unites us in our humanity.

As people, uniquely different, yet profoundly the same, this exhibit will engage us in that age-old exploration of “Who am I? and “What does it mean to be human?” The many faces of our humanity, the human form, the spaces we inhabit and fill with our vitality and verve - these are the very amulets of our existence on this earth when all else is stripped away.

This exhibit celebrates and revels in our glorious diversity while uniting us through our: FORMS, FACES and SPACES, figuratively speaking!

Amanda Busby

I'm Amanda Busby, a mixed media artist based in Brampton, Ontario, specializing in custom pet portrait paintings. My love for animals and expressive colour comes together in each piece, capturing not just the likeness but the spirit of every furry friend I paint. From playful pups to regal cats, I aim to create joyful, eye-catching artwork that brings beloved companions to life on canvas.

Each portrait is crafted with bold brushstrokes, vivid hues, and a sense of whimsy that reflects the unique charm of every pet. Whether it’s a gift or a keepsake, I’m passionate about making art that celebrates the bond we share with our animals in a bright and heartfelt way.

Grace Gaebel

Grace has been creating art since she was six years old, developing a deep passion for drawing, ink, and scratch art. Over the years, she’s explored various mediums, but her favorites allow her to capture intricate details and express emotions with bold precision. Inspired by the works of Melissa Helene and Robert Bateman, Grace draws from their ability to portray the beauty of the natural world, especially wildlife, with both realism and depth. This influence fuels her desire to create artwork that resonates with energy and emotion, whether it’s a detailed study of nature or a captivating wildlife portrait.

A lover of animals, Grace hopes to expand her work into creating pet portraits and wildlife art in the future. She also dreams of illustrating children's books, bringing stories to life with her unique style. With each new project, Grace continues to push her creative boundaries, staying dedicated to her craft while sharing her love for the world around her.
